Providing a solution
Many standard travel insurance schemes exclude cover for existing medical conditions or will decline to offer cover for the declared condition. This can lead to people travelling abroad without adequate cover and risking large medical bills or not travelling at all. The Free Spirit scheme was the first of its type specifically dedicated to those being declined cover elsewhere due to their health. It is one of the UK’s largest specialist travel insurance schemes for people with existing medical conditions and disabilities.
If cover is arranged as soon as the holiday is booked, there will be immediate protection should the trip need to be cancelled (subject to terms and conditions).
Why insure your travelling companions on the same policy?
Cover can also be provided for your travelling companions or carers on the same policy. As well as reduced premiums for those without medical conditions, you will ensure there are no gaps in cover that could arise if separate policies are purchased.
